cheesemaking: mozzarella making

If you want to learn how to make mozzarella, then this is the class for you!

 

Adam Shutes, the owner of Boston Cheese Cellar, we lead you through the mozzarella making experience. This class will help you understand the basics of mozzarella making. You will make the cheese yourself in the class (under Adam's guidance), and you will gain the confidence to make mozzarella at home, and to deal with any troubleshooting required.

 

You will start with high quality fresh local milk and you will transform this into curd, cut and dry the curd, and understand how to get the right stretch of your curd, before forming your mozzarella - to take home of course! 

You will have written instructions to take home, with everything that you had done in the class and annotated with the tips and tricks that Adam will have told you about during the class. You will be ready to repeat making your cheese exactly!

This class is a fun, interactive, hands-on session with other similarly cheese-minded folks. Prepare to be busy!
