Moliterno al Tartufo

Description: Moliterno is a sheep milk cheese, which is rubbed with olive oil during its again process. This gives the cheese a wonderfully moist texture - and sometimes you can even see little bubbles of oil in the pockets of the cheese. To make this al Tartufo, a fully matured Moliterno is infused - in a proprietary fashion with black truffle paste.


The result is a very strong and very moist truffle cheese. And it looks spectacular!


Price is per 0.5 lb.


All our cheese are cut and wrapped on demand in 0.5 lb increments. We wrap them carefully in our double lined cheese paper, which allows the cheese to breathe. If the cheese stays wrapped tightly in your home refrigerator, it will provide a lifetime of a couple of weeks after arrival.
