Pecorino di Bitti

Description: A rare Sardinian sheep milk cheese, which we import especially. It is dry in texture, las you would expect from a regular pecorino, but the taste is creamy, less salty and with a little bite on the finish. Definitely not at all sheepy or oily.


A wonderful table pecorino to eat, and not to grate! 


Price is per 0.5 lb.


All our cheese are cut and wrapped on demand in 0.5 lb increments. We wrap them carefully in our double lined cheese paper, which allows the cheese to breathe. If the cheese stays wrapped tightly in your home refrigerator, it will provide a lifetime of a couple of weeks after arrival.
